This vibrant city offers all you can wish for and more when it comes to a getaway you’ll remember for years with a captivating blend of culture and history.
The location is a feast for the eyes with a bombardment of colours as far as the eye can see including its pink-hued buildings, coral-coloured shop fronts and pinkish terracotta brick churches.

A step into Toulouse is like taking a step back in time thanks to its enchanting Old Quarter known as Vieux Quartier.
The region is France’s fourth-largest metropolis and is well on its way to becoming the ultimate French destination. This is largely owed to its food markets that are among France’s best, including its colourful streets, vibrant nightlife and ancient centre.
Nestled between the Garonne River and Canal du Midi its ideal for loved up couples to take endless strolls soaking up the magnificent sights. Historic landmarks are scattered throughout Toulouse including its historic center which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Some of Toulouse’s most famous architecture includes the Capitole de Toulouse and the Basilica of St. Sernin and Pont Neuf – a 17th-century stone bridge offering perfect views of Old Toulouse across the water.
Other must-visit spots in Toulouse include the region’s former monastery, university and church, featuring a seven-story bell tower, cloister garden and a palm tree-shaped vaulted ceiling at Couvent des Jacobins.
The culinary world in Toulouse is like no other with its national dish of a slow-cooked casserole with beans, sausages, pork and occasionally duck or mutton known as Cassoulet de Toulouse.
Other local dishes well worth a bite include the staple of Toulouse cuisine, a renowned sausage known as Saucisse de Toulouse, a cheesy and creamy blend of mashed potatoes and Tomme de Laguiole.
You can’t mention Toulouse without discussing the region’s nightlife where it’s been described as a young city where it’s impossible to get bored with some of the most trendiest nightclubs found in the rue du Capitole.
