Surprise Apple sale sees AirPods reduced and AirTags hit £28 for ‘limited time’
Amazon’s spring sale may be over but that hasn’t stopped the retailer from slashing the prices of several popular Apple devices. In a surprise move, you can currently pick up the latest AirPods Pro 2, Apple Watch Series 10 and AirTags at a rare discount, as well as headphones and earbuds from Beats.
The AirPods Pro 2 are usually £229 but a “limited time deal” on Amazon means they cost just £189, a 17 percent reduction and a healthy £40 off.

These earbuds are the latest version from Apple, with noise cancellation and transparency modes to cut out or let in noise, plus a clever adaptive mode that cuts out loud sounds when needed, which we love. Sound quality is excellent and they pair easily with your iPhone, iPad or Mac. This version has a USB-C port for charging but can also top up wirelessly.
Meanwhile, you can currently pick up an Apple AirTag for just £28. This handy gadget is normally £35, and comes with a removable battery. It links to the Find My app on your iPhone and can be used to track valuable items such as keys (though you’ll need an AirTag keyring holder for that), bags or wallets.

You can label the AirTag in the app so you know which item is which and track them on a map. If your lost item is found, someone with an iPhone can tap the AirTag and choose to contact you. You can also mark lost items as lost. These limited time deals also include a pack of two AirTags for £56 down from £70, and a pack of AirTags 4 for £87 instead of £119.
If you’ve had your eye on an Apple Watch, this rarely seen saving could be the one for you, with the Apple Watch Series 10 down to £349, £50 off its £399 RRP. This is the smaller 42mm version in the black aluminium colour with black sports band, a timeless look for anyone. You can pick different strap sizes when you go to purchase, and all are in the limited time deal.
Elsewhere in the Amazon sale are several Beats headphones including the two latest over-ear models. The Beats Studio Pro are currently an excellent £199, a massive saving on their £349 RRP.
These headphones have noise cancellation, long 40 hour battery life and fold down to easily stow in a bag. They also play nice with Android phones, so even though Beats are made by Apple you can still get quick pairing and app features if you have an Android.

Even cheaper are the newer Beats Solo 4. These on-ear headphones have smaller cups than the Studio Pro and are currently 30 percent off at a great £139.99. They have very good sound quality and battery life and if you use an iPhone, just like on the pricier Studio Pro, you can use personalised spatial audio.

If earbuds are more your thing, the Beats Fit Pro are reduced to £134.99, a massive saving on their £219.99 RRP. These in-ears have great noise cancellation and sound, and are a cheaper but similar alternative to the AirPods Pro 2. If you don’t need all the fancy features of AirPods and prefer an active style earbuds with wingtips to keep them securely in your ears, these could be the Beats for you.

For the ultimate in cheap Beats though, you can’t go wrong with the £57 Beats Solo Buds, which normally cost £79.99. They have 18 hours of battery life and come in a tiny case, as the case has no battery to recharge them – you have to charge them plugged in. But that’s a great trade off for these tiny buds, which have top sound and buttons on each bud to control your tunes.
